Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Joanne Aniston, born February 1969, in Los Angeles, her parents were both actors, dad, John Aniston and mum, Nancy Dow. Our celebrity rides star today first came to fame in the series Friends, although she did appear in a lot of TV series which were all flops, her first film was a horror called Leprechaun, which was also a flop, she was on the verge of quitting when she was asked to read for a part in Friends, originally she was going for the part of Monica but was offered the part of Rachel.

Whilst filming she became best friends with Courtney Cox, and is god mother to Cox’s daughter. Jennifer played the part of Rachel Green for the whole of the series, the series actually lasted 10 years from 1994 to 2004, she won an Emmy for her part as Rachel, and in her own words, saying if it wasn’t for Rachel I would have quit acting and became a hairdresser.

Since friends finished she has appeared in various films, some bad but the majority of them very good, she has also proved that she is a very versatile actress, by playing serious dramatic roles as well as comedy roles. She has appeared with Courtney Cox in Cox’s TV series Dirt. In 2000 she met and married Brad Pitt, but they divorced in 2005. Pitt and Aniston actually own a production company together and although they have both moved on, they still remain partners in the business, it was actually claimed that Pitt and Aniston were having secret liaisons behind Pitt’s wife’s back, both of them laughed at the rumors but Aniston was quoted as saying I hope she does think that, because then she will know, how I felt when she was doing it to me.

His school life started at The Dragon School in Oxford before moving on to Eton and then Selwyn College Cambridge where he studied for a degree in Archaeology and Social Anthropology. Whilst at Cambridge he was a member of the famous Footlights drama club and also a, member of both the Hermes and Hawk clubs. Like his father he enjoyed rowing and was a successful member of the university rowing club, in 1980 he was a member of the Cambridge crew in the annual Oxford and Cambridge boat race. He had to give up his rowing because he caught Glandular fever, and went on to concentrate on his drama at the Footlights, where he met actress Emma Thompson, with whom he had a romantic relationship with, apparently they remain good friends to this day, it was Emma who introduced Hugh to Stephen Fry.

Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie along with Emma Thompson went on to big things after university, Laurie has stated on many occasions his fame is down to the Footlights drama club at Cambridge. Along with Fry Laurie started appearing in there own productions of series like Black Adder, a bit of Fry and Laurie, and Jeeves and Wooster to name just a few, Laurie has also written a couple of books his first novel The gun seller is about to be made into a film which he will also star in. In 2004 Laurie was approached by Fox TV to star in the hit series House as the lead Dr Gregory House. He won 2 Golden Globes in his portrayal of the character. Since the series started it has gone from strength to strength which is due to the work our celb rides has put into it. Laurie also released a blues album in April this year, which proves the man is multi talented.

William Bradley Pitt

William Bradley Pitt, born December 1963, Shawnee Oklahoma, grew up in Springfield Missouri, his mum Jane was a high school counsellor his dad, William Alvin was a truck company owner. Our celebrity rides star was raised a conservative southern Baptist.

Pitt attended Kickapoo high school and was a very keen participant in all the sports the school had on offer, in 1982 he enrolled in the university of Missouri, majoring in Journalism, with a focus on advertising, he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and he acted in several fraternity shows, 2 weeks before his graduation he left university and headed off to Los Angeles and worked doing odd jobs for acting lessons and food.

Brad’s screen career started in 1987 with bit parts in films like, no way out and no man’s land, his TV career came the same year with parts in, growing pains and dallas. After that Pitt was getting more and more bit parts then in 1991 he appeared in the film Thelma and Louise, although this was only a small part it got him noticed and his film career really took off.

Our celbs car is one of many but the one he favours at the moment is his Mercedes G Wagon. To buy this off roader, you are looking at $125,000, but for that you not only get an off roader suv you get power and comfort, it has a 5.5 litre V8 engine, 7 speed automatic gearbox, weighs nearly 6,000 pounds, and rear wheel drive, for a car with this size engine and weight you would expect a poor MPG return, but in fact it isn’t that bad especially when you take the engine size and weight into consideration on the highway you will get 15mpg in the city 11 mpg, all in all this car is a work horse, and to be fair it is a pretty ugly looking vehicle the design hasn’t changed in quite a few years, now some people say you can judge a person by the car he drives, so now you know what car he drives you can judge yourself.

When people talk about Samsung we normally associate the name with electrical goods, but did you know that Samsung also make cars? In fact Samsung Cars is our celebrity rides for today. In fact Samsung started making cars in 1900, in Korea, the sad thing about it was they weren’t very good at making them, and decided to call it a day.

In 1994 the most powerful man in South Korea Lee Kun-hee, chairman of Samsung decided he wanted to give HYUNDAI a run for there money and ordered a factory built to make cars under the Samsung name. In 1998 the first decent cars came off the production line and hey presto, our celbs cars was born, but once again they weren’t very good. But this time unlike his ancestors, he wasn’t going to quit.

In 1998 Samsung sold a 70% share of it’s factory to Renault for, $512 million, the name Samsung motors was changed to RSM, Renault Samsung Motors. RSM actually boasts one of the best design teams in the industry, with French, Japanese, and of course Korean. As you might expect the cars are mostly Renault models, based on the Megane, 21, saffron range, but they have a good few concept cars which will be going into production soon.

You may well be saying to yourself I have never heard of this company and there cars, that is because the market they have is second only to Hyundai in Korea, and they aren’t really worried about selling to markets outside of Korea, you will find them for sale in Chile and Japan, and a few other Asian countries, because of the name and reliability they have made for themselves, but they are not interested in the European market, which is a shame in my opinion.

A couple of weeks ago I was writing that a lot of Hollywood stars are showing care to the environment by driving green cars such as a Toyota Prius. Well our celebrity rides star today is Dustin Hoffman,and a few weeks ago I wrote about him driving his Prius because he cares about the environment, well does he or is it all a case of jumping on the green ticket band wagon? I say this because our celbs rides actually drives a Porsche,I think the Prius maybe for his image and so called care of the environment.

But saying that he isn’t on his own,even decaprio drives a gas guzzler,along with Cameron Diaz and Owen Wilson,all these people state they drive the Prius to set an example.

But the truth is they do drive the gas guzzlers, so why cant they be honest with us all,at least people like Sean Penn,Charlie Sheen,Donald Sutherland admit to driving gas guzzlers,and openly admit to not wanting to jump on the green band wagon for there image. There really is only one true green car driver and that is Tom Hanks, he drives the eco friendly ebox,and has done for a long time now.

Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos aka Criss Angel, born of Greek American parents John and Dimitra,born December 1967,his parents owned a doughnut shop, our celebrity rides first got into magic and illusions when he was taught a card trick by his aunt.

She is a very pretty lady and along with Martina Hingis were considered the spice girls of tennis. Anna was a very good tennis player and made a lot of money from the game,but sadly due to a serious spinal injury she had to give the game up,she does play occasionally in exhibition matches.

Her full time career now seems to be modelling,and she is the face of KIA cars,which is a bit strange when you think about it. Her choice of cars is a bit like her choice of men,a few years ago it was reported that she was engaged to a Russian NHL hockey player named, Pavel Bure,she dated his friend Fedorov, and later married him in Moscow,but divorced soon after, then we had the Enrique Inglesias saga where he and Kournikova were supposedly engaged and married,this rumour came about because she appeared in one of his music videos. In 2007 Inglesias was quoted as saying that they were married in 2007,but later in 2008 he announced they were separated and awaiting a divorce,then he announced that it was all a joke and they weren’t married and he would never marry her anyway if he had the chance.

Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint aka Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter films,is our celebrity rides today,he  was born in August 1988,in Harlow Essex and grew up Hertfordshire,his mum was a housewife his dada a memorabilia dealer. Rupert or Ron whatever you want to call him found fame in the Harry Potter films by J K Rowling.

Sean John Combs aka P Diddy born November 1969,our celebrity rides was born in Harlem but grew up in Mount Vernon New York. His mum Janice was a teacher and a model,his dad Melvin was a known associate of the infamous New York drug baron Nicky Barnes,his dad was shot and killed at the age of 33 returning from a party,no one wqas arrested for his murder.

Combs attended Howard University until he dropped out and decided to start his own business as a party promoter, he eventually got a job with “Uptown Records” as a junior then worked his way up quickly to become a top executive. He was the person who signed “Mary J Blige “to stardom. In 1991 Our celbs rides promoted a concert which was very heavily oversubscribed,riots broke out outside the venue and several people were injured and a lot of damage caused,9 people died and P Diddy was arrested, for this he was fired from his job.

In 1993 Combs started “Bad Boy Records” and has produced acts such as,Lil Kim,TLC,Jodeci,Usher,Mariah Carey Aretha Franklin,to name just a few. Combs is well known for his generosity and has often been known to throw $100 bills in the air to a waiting crowd.
